Enlisted Woolwich, Kent, age 25 years & 240 days, height 5ft 5½ inches, eight 116lbs, hammer toes slight on both feet.  Resided 4 Russell Place, Woolwich, Kent. Formerly caterer.

Home 4th September 1916 to 30th May 1917; BEF 31st May 1917 to 28th March 1918.

23rd December 1918, date when Separation Allowance of 21/-a week payable to father will cease.

18th May 1921, letter to Mr W G Berry, Stanton Lodge, Darlaston, from Infantry Records Office - reference your letter dated 5-21, it is understood that Mr B Sansome recently died, in which case, will you please forward the Will, or a certified copy  thereof for inspection; 2nd January 1922, letter to Mr W G Berry, Stanton Lodge, Darlaston, from Infantry Records Office - will you please reply to this office letter dated 18-5-21, so that the decoration awarded to the late soldier above named, can be despatched; 5th January 1922, letter from Mr W G Berry, Stanton Lodge, Darlaston, to Infantry Records Office - I am sorry to state that I have not received any letter as referred to above.
