Private Frederick Edward FRANKLIN, G/30808, 10th Battalion, Queens Own Royal West Kent Regiment, (formerly 29418, Royal West Surrey Regiment), died of wounds, Flanders France, 30th September 1918, age 19.

25th February 1899,born Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire, son of Frederick & Mary Ann (nee Harvey) Franklin, of 1721, High St., Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire.

1911 Census - Frederick Franklin, head, age 36, married, mineral water maker, employer, born Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire; Mary Ann Franklin, wife, age 36, married 13 years, 3 children, all still alive, born Clapton, London; Frederick Edward Franklin, son, age 12, born Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire; Irene Franklin, daughter, age 8, born Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire; Ivy Franklin, daughter, age 4, born Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire.

January 1912 to December 1913, attended Watford Grammar School.

Enlisted Watford, Hertfordshire.

Buried at Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery, XXIV. E. 26A, Belgium.
