Home, 23rd February 1917 to 20th April 1917.

23rd February 1917, enlisted & posted Depot, Royal West Kent Regiment; 28th February 1917, posted 3rd Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment.

20th April 1917, discharged as "no longer physically fit for War Service" due to sickness. Silver War Badge issued

Disability, originated 21st June 1915 at Sea. Was injured in the Navy before joining the Army. He has had his muscles spiral? nerve injured. He suffers from wrist drops & complete loss of power in his right hand. Not result of or aggravated by Military Service. Permanent. Capacity not lessened. Eligible for £5 Gratuity.
