Private Charles Richard LITTLE, G/18460, (335172), 11th Battalion,  Queens Own Royal West Kent Regiment, (formerly 2502, R.E.K.M.R.),  killed in action, Ypres, Flanders, France, 29th July 1917, age 23.

Born  20th January 1896, Faversham, Kent, enlisted 4th May 1915, Sittingbourne, Kent. Formerly Porter on London Chatham & South Eastern Railway.

Son of Thomas Little and Anne Isabel Little, (daughter of Robert & Caroline Jemmett of Faversham, Kent), of 25 Mill Street, Milton Regis, Sittingbourne, Kent.

Educated Milton Regis County Council School.

23rd December 1914, married Amy Mary Ann Hughes (formerly Little, daughter of Thomas James), of 19, Cheapside, Sittingbourne, Kent.

Child - Gladys Little.

Served with the Expeditionary Force in France & Flanders from 20th September 1916.

Commemorated at Oak Dump Cemetery, F.1., Ieper, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium.
