Home, 3rd March 1915 to 28th September 1915; Salonika Expeditionary Force, 29th September 1915 to 7th January 1916; Home, 8th January 1916 to 5th August 1916.

3rd March 1915, enlisted & posted Depot, Royal West Kent Regiment; 9th March 1915, posted 3rd Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 29th September 1915, posted 2nd Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment & Salonika Expeditionary Force; 15th October 1915, attached Royal Dublin Fusiliers; 8th January 1916, posted Depot, Royal West Kent Regiment.

5th August 1916, discharged  as "no longer physically fit for War Service" due to sickness. Silver War Badge issued

Disability Trench feet, caused by Service. Pension of 20/- a week for 6 months, conditional.
