Born Eynsham, Oxford,  enlisted 14th December 1914, Bromley, Kent, age 31, height 5ft 8 inches, resided Blackwood Coffee House, Dartford, Kent. Formerly waiter.

Next of Kin, brother, Bob Leach, City Farm, Eynsham, Oxford; Foster Mother (mother died giving birth to child) - Mrs Ellen Bryant, 20 Martins Road, Dartford, Kent.

Postings - Home, 14th December 1914 to 20th April 1915; BEF, 21st April 1915 to 11th August 1915; Home, 12th August 1915 to 9th December 1915, Indian Expeditionary Force, 10th December 1915 to 22nd July 1916; India, 23rd July 1916 to 5th December 1917; Indian Expeditionary Force, 6th December 1917 to 29th October 1918.

Commemorated at Basra Memorial, Panel 29., Iraq.
