Private Bertie John CLOVER, G/29503, 10th  Battalion, Queens Own Royal West Kent Regiment, died of wounds, Flanders France, 25th October 1918, age 18.

Born Ipswich, Suffolk, son of John and Julia Clover, of Colchester, Essex.

1911 Census - 60 Mile End Road, Colchester, Essex - John Clover, head, age 45, married, railway guard, born Raydon, Suffolk; Julia Clover, wife, age 46, married 22 years, 3 children, 2 still alive, born Raydon, Suffolk; Bertie Clover, son, age 11, born Ipswich, Suffolk; Edward Clover, son, age 8, born Ipswich, Suffolk; Albert Phillips, boarder, age 42, widower, railway guard, born Kelsale, Suffolk.

Employed by Great Eastern Railway at Colchester as a Lampman. Joined Great Eastern Railway, Colchester February 1914

Enlisted Warley, Essex, October 1917. Resided 60 Mile End Road, Colchester, Essex.

Buried at Terlincthun British Cemetery, VI. C. 49., Wimille, Pas de Calais, France.
