Born Holborn, London, WC.

Enlisted Harringay, NW, age 20, height 5ft 3⅜ inches, weight 116lbs.  Resided 4 Netherton Road, South Tottenham. Formerly bandsaw maker.

Next of Kin (Aunt) - Nellie Bolton, 7 Kilburn Square, High Road, Kilburn, NW6.

Home 10th January 1915 to 29th August 1915; BEF 30th August 1915 to 26th September 1915.

10th January 1915, enlisted & posted Depot, Royal West Kent Regiment; 16th January 1915, posted 8th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 11th July 1915, Blackdown Camp, overstaying his pass from 11.00pm until 10.15pm 12th inst. 7 days confined to Barracks, deprived of 2 days pay, forfeits 2 days pay; 26th September 1915, wounded & posted missing.

Commemorated at  Loos Memorial, Panel 95 to 97, Pas de Calais, France.

In pursuance of "The Regimental Debts Act, 1893," notice is hereby given that there is available for distribution amongst the Next of Kin or others entitled the sum of money set opposite to the name of each of the deceased Soldiers named in the lists which are published with this notice in the London Gazette and the "Army List," and are also to be seen at the Regimental Depots throughout the United Kingdom.

Applications from persons supposing themselves entitled as Next of Kin should be addressed by letter to "The Secretary, War Office, Park Buildings, St. James's Park, London, S.W.," and marked outside "Effects."
