1911 Census - In a caravan, in a meadow, on the Langford Road, Biggleswade, Bedfordshire - Absalom Smith, head, age 47, married, stall proprietor attending fairs, own account, born Gamlingay, Cambridgeshire; Sarah Smith, wife, age 46, married 26 years, 8 children, all still alive, born Shefford, Bedfordshire; Arthur Smith, son, age 25, single, born Royston, Hertfordshire; Absalom Smith, son, age 17, single, born Royston, Hertfordshire; Walter Smith, son, age 15, single, born Royston, Hertfordshire; William Smith, son, age 12, born Hitchin, Hertfordshire; Celia Smith, daughter, age 10, born Cherry Hinton, Cambrideshire; Charles Smith, son, age 8, born Upwood, Huntingdonshire.


1914 December, Bedford Registration District, Absalom Smith married Grace Manning.

Enlisted Mill Hill, Middlesex.   Resided Edmonton, London.

Widow - Grace Smith, born 1st March 1892.

Children Charles Smith, born 12th March 1915.

Buried at Deir el Belah War Cemetery,  A. 170., Israel.
