Home 10th November 1914 to 12th September 1917; BEF 13th September 1917 to 28th March 1918.

10th November 1914, enlisted 11th Battalion, Loyal North Lancashires, Service No.17782; 11th September 1915, Billericay, overstaying his pass from Tattoo until reporting himself at 8.00pm 13th September 1915, deprived of 3 days pay, forfeits 3 days pay;

4th April 1916, Notice of Marriage without Licence, to be solemnized at Hanover United Methodist Church, Gilnow Road, Bolton, Lancashire, Albert Schofield, bachelor, 11th Battalion, side piercer in cotton mill, age ?? years, Bowden Street, Bolton, marrying Hannah Fielding, spinster, age 24 years, 14 Proffitt Street, Bolton, Lancashire.

1st September 1916. transferred to Training Reserve Battalion; 10th October 1916, transferred to 2/9th Middlesex Regiment, Service No.5597; 15th October 1916, Seaford, Training Reserve Battalion; 13th September 1917, 41 Infantry Base Depot, posted 3/10th Battalion; 17th September 1917, transferred to Royal West Kent Regiment; 17th September 1917, posted 3/4th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 17th September 1917, posted 7th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 21st March 1918, posted missing.

22nd December 1918, date when Separation Allowance of 12/6 a week, payable to wife will cease.

23rd December 1918, pension of 13/9 a week awarded to widow.

1927 June, Basford, Nottinghamshire, Hannah Schofield, married Isiah Godfrey, resided Thornton, Blackpool, Lancashire
