Private Alfred NOBLE, G/5410, 8th  Battalion, Queens Own Royal West Kent Regiment, died of wounds, Flanders France, 26th May 1916.

Born Deal, Kent, enlisted 8th January 1915, Richmond, Surrey, age 32, height 5ft 7 inches, weight 126lbs, resided Terrace House Garage, Richmond, Surrey. Formerly car washer.

Son of Mrs Emily Noble "Lord Hill", Bexley Heath, Kent; 4th October 1916, 9 Dolphin Street, Deal; 23rd July 1920 / 20th July 1921, 10 Erith Road, Bexley Heath, Kent.

Home, 8th January 1915 to 29th August 1915; BEF, 30th August 1915 to 30th September 1915; Home, 1st October 1915 to 17th February 1916; BEF, 18th February 1916 to 26th May 1916.

28th September 1915, wounded, to England 30th September 1915; 24th April 1916, admitted 24 General Hospital, Etaples, aphonia; 1st May 1916, from Hospital; 26th May 1916, died of wounds in the Field.

Buried at Dranoutre Military Cemetery, II. A. 4., Belgium.
