Born Camberwell, SE, enlisted 23rd August 1914, Woolwich, SE, age 19, height 5ft 5 inches, weight 110lbs. Formerly clerk.

Son of Frederick Lipscombe & Clara Luckie, of "Sunmount", Emily Road, Tatsfield, Westerham, Kent.

Postings - Home, 23rd August 1914 to 31st May 1915; BEF, 1st June 1915 to 7th March 1916.

30th June 1915, St Ives, awarded 21 days Field Punishment No.2.

Commemorated at Loos Memorial, Panel 95 to 97., France.
