Enlisted Taunton, Staffordshire.  Resided 26 Shirland Road, Maida Vale, London, Middlesex / 12, Braden Street, Maida Hill, London.

Served with the Expeditionary Force in France & Flanders from 12th September 1917.

Commemorated  at Tyne Cot Memorial, Panel 106 to 108, Zonnebeke, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium.
