11th August 1916, Medical Board, medically unfit. VDH, originated 1910 Edmonton. Has a well masked systolic murmur. Heart is very much enlarged, not the result of or aggravated by Military Service.

25th August 1916, discharged as "no longer physically fit for War Service" due to sickness. Silver War Badge issued

Not eligible for a pension, submitted as eligible for a gratuity of £25.
