24th February 1913, enlisted 7 posted Depot, Royal West Kent Regiment; 12th March 1913, posted 1st Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 30th April 1913, 3rd Class Certificate of Education; 24th May 1913 to 25th June 1913, King George V Hospital, Dublin, tonsillitis; 24th July 1913, attains the age of 18; 6th September 1913, Dublin, absent from 7.00pm to 7.20pm, 5 days confined to Barracks; 7th September 1913, Dublin, dirty equipment mounting Inchicore Picquet, 2 extra picquets; 27th November 1913, Dublin, absent from Tattoo until 10.20pm, 5 days confined to Barracks; 15th December 1913, Dublin, dirty collar & ????, 2 extra Guards; 26th April 1914, Dubin, drunk in Barracks about 9.30pm, admonished; 29th June 1914, Kilbride, overstaying his pass from Reveille until 5.40am, 7 days confined to Barracks; 10th July 1914, Dublin, absent from Tattoo until 4.30am 11th July, 8 days confined to Barracks, forfeits 1 days pay.
