Private Arthur CLAYTON, 19484, 7th Battalion, Queens Own Royal West Kent Regiment, (transferred to 405343, Labour Corps), died, 14th July 1918, 35 General Hospital, France, age 32.

Born Scolles, Lincolnshire.

Enlisted Derby. Resided Worksop, Nottinghamshire.

1913, December Quarter, Worksop, married Gertie Hanson, of South Carlton, Worksop, Nottinghamshire.

Buried at  Les Baraques Military Cemetery, IV. C. 8., Sandgatte, France.

NOTE: Not shown in Regimental History or in Soldiers Died in the Great War; but included on CWGC web site.
