Lieutenant Robert Grant CROSSE, 7th  Battalion,  Queens Own Royal West Kent Regiment, died of wounds, at Trones Wood, 14th July 1916, age 22.

15th June 1894, born Canterbury, Kent, second son of the Rev.Canon Thomas George Crosse, (Vicar of Faversham),  and Fanny Maria, (nee Nelson), of Ickham Rectory, Canterbury, Kent.

16th July 1894, born Canterbury, Kent, baptism of Robert Grant Crosse, son of Thomas George & Fanny Maria Crosse.

Captain Thomas Latymer Crosse, was killed in action at Fricourt, 3rd July 1916, 

13th November 1916, Probate - Crosse Robert Grant, of the Vicarage, Faversham, Kent, Lieutenant 7th Royal West Kent Regiment, died 14th July 1916 in France or Belgium from wounds received in action. Administration Canterbury 13th November to the Reverend Thomas George Crosse, clerk. Effects £122 12s 1d.

Buried at  Peronne Road Cemetery, I. C. 2., Mericourt, Somme, France & commemorated at Faversham Parish Church, (St Mary of Charity)Faversham, Kent
