Previously served in 3rd Battalion, Special Reserve, Royal West Kent Regiment, 5063, enlisted 23rd September 1903, age 17, height 5ft 3 inches, tattoo both forearms.

Husband of Elizabeth Friar (nee Feeney), 60 Fawcett Road, Deptford, SE, married 27th February 1911, St Luke's Church, Deptford.
