11th December 1915, enlisted; 12th December 1915, to Army Reserve; 1st June 1916, mobilized; 2nd June 1916, posted 5th Battalion, Royal Fusiliers, Service No.41134; 26th September 1916, posted BEF; 5th October 1916, posted 11th Battalion; 14th October 1916, transferred to Royal West Kent Regiment, attached 11th Battalion; 1st November 1917, appointed unpaid Lance Corporal; 19th April 1918, posted 7th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 24th April 1918, posted missing.

22nd December 1918, date when Separation Allowance of 19/6 a week, paid to wife will cease.

23rd December 1918, pension of4 20/5 a week awarded to widow & 1 child.
