Scar in left inguinial region after operation for hernia of variocele, according to the man 13 months ago, thickening of ???. Formerly gardener.

8th May 1912, enlisted & posted Depot, Royal West Kent Regiment; 14th August 1912, awarded 3rd Class Certificate of Education; 20th September 1912, posted 1st Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 7th January 1913, Dublin, not taking his service dress to the tailors shop when ordered to do so, 7 days confined to Barracks; 11th January 1913 to 17th January 1913, Royal Infirmary, Dublin, eczema; 7th May 1913, appointed unpaid Lance Corporal; 1st August 1913, Dublin, drunk in Westmoreland Street about 11.10pm, deprived of Lance Stripe; 22nd October 1913, posted 2nd Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 7th October 1914, passed exam in Pashtee, elementary standard; 9th December 1914, appointed unpaid Lance Corporal; 7th March 1915, Busrah, irregular conduct on the line of march, failing to join his Company when ordered to do so, reprimanded; 24th July 1915, Nasiriyah, appointed paid Lance Corporal; 1st December 1915, dysentery; 2nd December 1915, transferred to 3A BGH,  Kut-al-Amara; 1st January 1916, mentioned in Despatches of General Sir John Nixon (London Gazette, 5th April 1916); 29th April 1916, Kut-al-Amara, taken Prisoner.

21st February 1916, letter from A Creasey, The Knoll, Ightham, Kent, concerning L/Cpl G E Burrluck, Maxim Battery, 6th Division, Royal West Kent Regiment - "I should be glad if you could give me any information of the above named L/Cpl Burrluck. I last heard from him Kut-al-Amara dated November 15th"

27th November 1916, report of death from Ottoman Red Crescent through Geneva, buried Mosul, Hote-el-American (Prisoners Cemetery).
