3rd November 1918, discharged  as "no longer physically fit for War Service" due to wounds.   Silver War Badge issued

Pension, 12/- a week, to be reviewed in 52 weeks. Disability, 40%, gun shot wound left arm, attributable. Scar 10 inches long to middle of forearm, preventing full extension of elbow, hand cold and blue and hardly any power of flexing thumb and first finger, wrist movements weak.
