Son of Digby Charles and Elanor Clementina Legard, of Quarry Bank, Malton, Yorkshire.

 Buried at Cabaret-Rouge British Cemetery, XXIX. C. 40., Souchez, France & commemorated at Washingborough & Heighington, Lincolnshire,  War Memorial

AWARDS: Twice Mentioned in Despatches
