Born 1884, Eccles, Kent, enlisted 31st August 1914, Maidstone, Kent, age 29, height 5ft 4 inches, weight 121lbs. Formerly gas labourer.
Son of Louisa Jenner, Sycamore Villa, Eccles, Kent.
Formerly served in 3rd Battalion, Special Reserve, Royal West Kent Regiment.
Postings - Home, 31st August 1914 to 31st May 1915; BEF, 1st June 1915 to 12th July 1918; Leave to UK, 13th July 1918 to 27th July 1918; BEF, 28th July 1918 to 19th August 1919; Class Z Reserve, 20th August 1919 to 31st March 1920.
4th September 1914, appointed Lance Corporal; 1st October 1914, promoted Corporal; 18th June 1915, appointed Lance Sergeant; 15th April 1916, promoted Sergeant; 30th May 1917, appointed Acting CSM; 3rd October 1917, appointed Acting RSM; 19th November 1919, transferred to Reserve; 31st March 1920, discharged on demobilisation.
Pension of 14/- a week for 30% disability, D.A.H. (Disordered Action of the Heart), from 20th November 1919, to be reviewed in 26 weeks.
