Second Lieutenant Henry Ivanhoe VANDELL, Queens Own Royal West Kent Regiment, (attached "B" Company, 1st Battalion, Northamptonshire Regiment), killed in action, between 10th and 13th November 1914, age 24.

Only son of Henry Arnold Vandell and S. A. Vandell, of Sydney Villa, 50, Duncan Road, Gillingham, Kent.

 Graduate of Institute of Mech. Engineers, London. Commissioned December1912 to Reserve of Officers from O.T.C. University of London.

Commemorated at Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial, Panel 43 and 45, Ieper, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium.
